The Ambassador Series presents noteworthy artists and performers from around the world to showcase countries or areas of the world and their cultures. Events may include music, dance, poetry, visual arts, and other art forms. Often, at the close of a performance, a "taste" of the country is presented at an informal reception for the audience to meet the artists. All events are free and open to the public. WAE seeks to have citizens in the communities from the countries featured be a part of the evening. Visiting artists are often housed with local host families to enrich the cross-cultural experience.
